Tribute to: .....::::HULK::::.....Givanildo Vieira De Souza - F.C:Porto
Givanildo Vieira de Souza, aka Hulk (born July 25, 1986 in Campina Grande), is a Brazilian football striker who currently plays for F.C. Porto in the Portuguese League.
Described as a strong yet skillful striker, he possesses a powerful left-footed shot, and received his nickname due to his resemblance to Hollywood actor Lou Ferrigno, who played the comic book hero. However, there has been debate that his nickname also came from his time with Tokyo Verdy, due to the team sporting all green kits. Hulk maintains that his love for the superhero cartoon was founded as a child growing up in Brazil, and the name stuck with his friends.
Hulk first played professionally with modest Esporte Clube Vit�ria and, still a youngster emigrated to Japan, where he consecutively represented Kawasaki Frontale, Consadole Sapporo and Tokyo Verdy (which also dones a green uniform, hence the moniker).
After a 2008 stellar season with Verdy, Hulk joined Portuguese Liga powerhouse Futebol Clube do Porto,first netting officially in 2-0 home wins against CF Os Belenenses and FC Pa�os de Ferreira, as a second-half substitute.
